Making a Difference by Providing Quality Healthcare Services

The Tsiyon Family Hospital is working towards providing general care for all ages, as well as providing multiple procedures to create a complete health care solution. The Tsyion Hospital will provide procedures including, but not limited to those associated with a primary care medical/dental facility. The Tsiyon Family Hospital philosophy is that optimal health and performance can be attained through the proper balance of exercise, nutrition, and education. Our goal is to educate our patients as well as treat them. Therefore, our services will also provide group classes and teaching sessions for our patients. Subjects will include nutrition, diabetes, hypertension, HIV/AIDS, malaria and much more. The Tsiyon Family Hospital will focus on each individual case. After each procedure and where appropriate, each patient will be offered education in rehabilitation, nutrition, dental care and exercise as it relates to each particular case. Our goal is to create a well-rounded experience for each patient to optimize their health.

Celebrating One Year

February 27, 2024 TFH celebrated one year of providing medical and dental services year-round, day and night!

Over the past year, Building Up provided 89% of the financial support for the day-to-day operation. Funds received at the door from patient treatment covered the remaining costs. Monthly, Building Up covers:

Currently the hospital is equipped with forty-eight beds and at its full capacity will be able to accommodate one hundred thirty overnight patients. TFH treats patients in these fully equipped and operational units:

In Its Inaugural Year

TFH treated 2,100 men, women, and children. This includes 250 individuals seen at a pop-up clinic held in a neighboring village and 480 seen during the opening days of the hospital . This may not sound like a lot of people receiving services but to this community it is epic! With ineffable joy and gratefulness, we celebrate lives that were saved, babies born, immunizations given, dental care provided, treatments administered because TFH was available in the community. TFH has given a better future to so many individuals. Patients commenting on the impact TFH is making in their lives:

Supporting Healthcare in the Uganda Community of Sayyi

Building Up: Partnering In Health and Wholeness, alongside our partners in Uganda, has witnessed a transformation in the lives of over 6,000 people surrounding Sayyi. The new Tsiyon Family Hospital is providing critical care to this rural area of Uganda. Given that most people living in this area have no mode of transportation other than walking or bicycles, having medical and dental services available within a reasonable distance is saving and improving lives.

The hospital still needs the equipment and connections to serve the full needs of the community. You can help make that happen!
