The Tsiyon Family Hospital is transforming lives and bringing hope, healing, and economic opportunities to the community of Sayyi and neighboring Villages. You can be a part of Building Up.
What is Building Up?
Building Up is a 501c3 nonprofit run by a motivated team of U.S.-based volunteers working to raise funds for the Tsiyon Family Hospital and its outreach programs in the Gombe region of Uganda. Building Up works closely with the Tsiyon Healing Team, our Ugandan-based partners, to establish priorities and budgets, and secure resources and partners for the hospital’s success. We believe that modern, evidence-based medical care should be available to everyone. We’re thankful to our partners in Uganda who have invited us to accompany them as they transform their community.
Now that the hospital is built, Building Up Board Members, Advisory Council Members and supporters continue to:
- Raise funds to staff and equip the hospital in Sayyi, Uganda.
- Build cross-cultural relationships to share knowledge and resources to create healthy communities.
- Develop relationships with granting agencies and foundations to sustain the hospital.
- Gather donations from US based health programs that can be shipped to Uganda.
- Recruit health professionals and students to visit and support the hospital for specialty clinics and learning opportunities.
