About James Rivard

James has a BSE in Computer Science from the University of Michigan School of Engineering. He worked as a software engineer in the network security field for 10 years.

James is currently enrolled in the University of Michigan School of Social Work on a Master Track certificate program and is in the process of applying to a Master of Social Work program. James is passionate about serving people in need, from a social justice perspective. He lives with his family in Chelsea, Mi and likes to go orienteering events with his family in his free time.
